Looking to build my first Gaming PC for 8 years and I feeling confused now with all the different standards of USB. I'm planning on using a case with a USB C port and wondering how to connect this to an Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING Wi-Fi II. Do I need en extra adaptor for the motherboard or should I chose a different one around the same cost. Thanks for any help.

Probably just for connecting my phone to transfer files at the moment. I have a separate charger for charging. The case has a USB C port so I might as well use it..

I'm still in the process of planning the build. Not actually finalised the parts. Looking at mainly Corsair case, cooler and memory with 5800 CPU. I already have a Corsair PSU from my current build. Will use my 5600XT to start with but think that will be a weak link.
