What do I need to make my own coolant?

Hi I'm doing my first ever water cooled build next week and was thinking about making my own coolant I'm looking a deep blue cooler to go with my build. so my question is what do I need to make coolant is it just distilled water some dye and a biocide like pm nuke?

But have you looked at the Mayhem line-up yet?

Yeah I've looked at mayhem and xspc coolant I'm put of them because they r uv coolants. I like the idea of just adding a few drops of dye until I get the cooler I'm looking for my build.
mayhem aurora coolant looks epic but I'm hearing that it only last a week or so plus a have a bay res

You could just get some clear Mayhems X1 and use dye.

Why are you put off if a coolant has UV?

Didn't think of putting the clear fluid in with dye. Cause I don't want the coolant changing colour under light. Now that I think of it wouldn't it only change colour under uv light lol

Mayhem do have non-UV coolants as well.
