What do I need to make RGB fans work

Hi all,

Simple question hopefully, just want to make sure I buy the right thing.

I have a motherboard with only one 4 pin RGB header. Nothing is connected to it.

I bought some fans which use the newer 3 pin connectors.

What do I need to buy to connect it up, either a converter or a separate controller (and if I buy a separate controller where does this get connected to)?

Phanteks SK PWM D-RGB

I bought Phanteks because it said they were compatible with the Phanteks P400 cases which have an RGB light strip, which is the case I have. But the connector was still incompatible.

Yeah, RGB fan connectors just not compatible with the connector on the case.

Also motherboard is 4 pin RGB not 3 pin new standard.

It's been mentioned before but I couldn't find the genuine one anywhere. I've now ordered one off the forest but I don't know if it's a copy.
