Hi,

Sorry for the noob question.

What is a suitable program to overclock my 980TI?
I can't find any such feature in the Nvidia Control Panel.

Does overclocking require me to install a 3rd party app? If so any recommendations.

Edit. Also is there a recommended app to see the results. Last time I did this kind of thing I was using 3D Mark 18 years ago :)

Thanks

Yup, no overclocking tools within Nvidia control panel, will need to use third party tool.

Fair few on the market, a solid one I and fair number of people use is MSI Afterburner: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/msi-afterburner-beta-download.html

Plenty of other options and similar tool's such as EVGA Precision X, ASUS GPU Tweak and so on.

The tool's are not locked into a particular brand card, so EVGA's 980Ti FTW can be overclocked fine with MSI AB for example.

Excellent. Thanks for the replies. I'll take a look at one of those suggested.

For anyone who has a 980TI is there a ballpark figure which most, if not all cards can get to?
