What do I upgrade now?

Are there any other benefits with an SSD upgrade other than a quick windows boot? and maybe opening firefox etc quicker?

That's all there is really, everything on it will load faster, and feels much more responsive. No noise, and no heat concerns I suppose is a nice addition. It's not gonna get you more fps in games. But in terms of overall comfort, it's great.

So in reality its abit of a luxury really. Type of thing i would buy once im perfectly happy ive upgraded sufficiently and got a hundred quid to splash. Which is pretty rare!

I got the graphics card about 2 weeks ago! So I don't think I'll be getting a new one!

I'd agree with getting a bigger monitor, always been a dell fan and got one of the Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA, AWESOME screen and it will blow you away going from a 17" to this

I've been looking at that LG monitor I posted and I've found other LG LED monitors, same size and the same price, but have a resolution of 1920x1080, I suppose if I was to get the higher resolution monitor then I could just set the resolution on Crysis lower and just play it not on fullscreen mode?

What about the x16 slot and the x4 slot? HOw much of an impact would that make?

While performance drops is only like a few % of x8/x8 Crossfire on PCI-E 2.0, the same cannot be said about crossfiring in x4/x4. You'd better off just using a single card.

I think I'll wait and see what Northern Island brings and then either upgrade to one of them or buy a cheap 5770. Right now I think I'll get a new case, as the Mesh Matrix one isn't great for cooling
