Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. Catalyst A.I. makes optimisations to image quality (textures etc.) on the fly in individual games, and is important if you want to use HDR+AA in games like Far Cry, Splinter Cell, Oblivion and Call Of Juarez.
Adaptive Antialiasing is an antialiasing mode that massively improves image quality by getting rid of a lot more jaggies, especially on things like chain-linked fences and cables in games. It does have a performance hit though, but you can select either "performance" mode or "quality" mode for it which gives you more options to suit your needs.
