got virgin media coming today to install a few more lines to my house but unfortunately im at work so im wondering what they usually do so i can tell my mother some basic things to check are correct as were going to need the cable to get to the loft as thats where our network enters our internal wiring .
what do they do on a virgin media repull?

I hope you told them this in advance as if the guy wasn't aware and doesn't bring a team they wont work above 6ft off the ground.
I had the same thing and they walked away and I had to wait for 2 "trained" guys to come out to use a ladder.

taken me 2 months to get these extra cables laid as we got 2 tivo boxes and 3 hd boxes + 100mb net. the poor standard cable cant cope slows net to crawl watching a few tv's
and if ur running big dl tv picture goes all crackly or drops all together
EDIT: theyve just been and aparently theres no spare cable left they just run it to the catv hole at front of house?
