Hi

Total cost is £1,222 - a fair bit of cash but my last build was about 3-4 years ago with minor upgrades

here goes with some questions later.....

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit Edition DVD - OEM - 1Pk (66I-01939)
- OCZ StealthXStream 600w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 Power Supply
- Sony Floppy Drive - Black
- LG GGC-H20L Blu-Ray Reader & HD-DVD ROM Serial ATA Drive - Retail
- Samsung SpinPoint F1 750GB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (HD753LJ)
- OcUK GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - OEM
- OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Reaper HPC Enhanced Bandwidth Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2RPR800C44GK)
- Abit IP35 Pro (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
- Tuniq Tower 120-LFB CPU Cooler (Socket 478/754/939/940/AM2/LGA775)
- Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - OEM
- Coolermaster RC-1100 Cosmos S "Sport" Silent Full Tower Case
- Saitek Eclipse 2 Illuminated Keyboard - Blue/Red/Purple

Questions:

Is the power supply good enough - OC are out of stock on their larger PSU?
Is VISTA premium a good choice?

Thanks for any help as I haven't really been keeping up to date with most changes in the PC world

Hi

Good point about the floppy - you're right they're fairly redundant these days. I was using the OC PC builder so went for the keyboard on offer there but I'll look at the others and order separately

Cheers
