You might want to annotate the photo (or provide a higher res one) if you are trying to indicate an area on the socket you are worried about.

As it stands, the only thing that jumps out at me is "ooooo, s1156 - don't stick fingers in".

lmao,try with a bit a zoom,i saw a lot of thermal paste on it,question i have would it cause BSOD or any other problems like booting etc.

Clean it with hot salty water.

Spray it directly on to the socket and surrounding area.

That would scare me! Another forum suggests a cotton bud and rubbing alcohol if you want another alternative. It will evaporate off quicker.
