What do you call these?

Basically its a stand for a screen which is flexible, but when you move it, it stays in that position. Usually fixed to a desk/wall by suction or something like that.

Gooseneck Mount, Make sure its specifically for a monitor\LCD though, as you can buy Gooseneck variations of everything

Thanks. Just looking for something for my Advent Vega - so not too heavy....but may go for a mounting arm instead.

Out of curiosity how do you plan to attach the tablet to the stand? Just rest it?

Haven't thought that far ahead yet....I'm guessing I would have to do some actual modding to the Vega itself which I am not so keen on.

I am looking for it to be able to be held by the arm/gooseneck in ANY position/angle.....but at the same time be easily detachable.

Sticky back velcro attached to a rubber skin, so you can remove it when you dont want it 'docked'.
