What do you call?

What do you call your remote control.

After going round friends and familys houses, I think it has come to a point where lets find out what you call yours.

Now personally I just call mine the remote, but over the years I've heard some wierd names.

Fred
Congy
Channel hopper
Doddle

There the ones that I seem to hear the most.

In my house it mostly gets called the hoofer-doofer i have no idea why it's called that either.

tv remote or digit remote.

..or if im having a forgetful day i'll call it a "thingy" and act out the action of pressing the buttons

... actually if im having a forgetful day, a lot of things get called "thingy"

not me, all of the plates fall out of the racks :eek:
