I wont link it in case im wrong and get banned for linking to a competitors site :P But they seem to offer computer parts for ridiculous prices, i5 2500k for £130 for example, it also seems to be run out of flat 14a in barton house, bow road, london. People don't usually run websites that sell stuff from a flat do they? How do you find out if a site is genuine or if its not then... wat do?

I also came across this company whilst searching for exactly the same thing as you, the Intel i5 2500k. It is indeed priced at £130.18 including vat and delivery! It seems more than a bit suspicious to me as for starters there is no contact telephone number should anything go wrong.

Their registered company address is a private flat and available company info about them suggests that they were only set up on 14 October 2011. I have also found references to a previous company (astra computers) at the same address, that has only just been wound up. Even further back and again from the same address, they were trading as "Acer B" and this company was wound up in 2009!

In the above circumstances, I have given them a wide berth and would suggest that you do the same as their prices seem too good to be true!

Also if you do a search for astra computers you will see a yahoo link from people who have been scammed by them in the last few days.
Seems that people have ordered laptops etc. and received nothing in return. Accounts closed, Paypal account closed and business wound up which all sounds like a "take the money and run" type of scam ....... avoid!
