Got a 360 and dont really play it much. I have about 26games as im one of those homo hording types, I feel I cant get rid of a game till I have 1000GP on it (thanks microsoft)

Anyway I generally sell on my games on auctioning sites as I thought it offered the best value since you get basically zero for trading them in? Or do people still trade in and feel its worth the money?

As im off come the autumn the temptation is to sell everything now, but as I stupidly played COD4 at a friends house recently i'll probably have one last blast till im away come September.

So how do you get rid of yours? Selling/trading for new ones? What should I do, just sell it all or keep hording so I can break it out in 3years time and criticise it for how poor it is compared to the latest generation?

i either trade them in or auction them (if i can be bothered to package them up)

i got rid of most of my games (15 or so) at the end of last year, only keeping what i play or will go back to.

i now only have:-

cod:waw - still play
fallout 3 - will play again at some point
forza 2 - will play again at some point
wheelman - will be getting rid of shortly
race pro - will be getting rid of shortly
pgr3 - worth nothing so keeping

Hoard them usually but I've been trying to be more active on Swopster as I'd rather trade a game for another instead of just selling it or trading in at a big high street game retailer.

I can't think of a single game that i've even vaguely enjoyed that i haven't fired up again a few years after buying it. I only sell on crap games these days and due to doing proper research before i purchase i buy a game i consider crap once in a blue moon.

If i do sell, i go the way of auction sites, you get far more than you would on trade-in.

i trade them in, i only auction stuff when its makes a difference such as valuable/rare games. i only keep a handful of games that i think are amazing but i have a habit of selling old consoles, so they all go when the console does...

its been harder to let go of stuff this gen though because i buy special editions of everything :p

I sell them. I'm a terrible hoarder though. This time last year, I had about 50 360 games, I'm now down to about 30. If it wasn't for money, I'd keep all my games but then I'd never be able to afford to buy more!

:eek:You must be loaded after selling 50330 games!!!

I keep mine, I have 2 huge boxes full of games in the attic, Dreamcast, PS1\PS2, N64. I then have all my xbox360 games out, with the odd PS1\Ps2 games out.

I do trade in some games, But only ones I was really disappointed with, Or games that are still worth the trade

Keep forever (well nearly forever).

I sold all my PS1 games apart from FF7. I've recently sold most of my Gamecube games, keeping about 3. I've kept every PS3/360 game I've ever bought (probably got around 10 combined).

I put very small scratches on the disc with a fine screwdriver so the game doesn't work and then trade them in at the high street as they don't check too much. Everyone wins.

I still have all mine, though I collectively buy them with my brothers and share the xbox so it'd be hard to split up money if I sold them. If it was my own games I probably would sell them as I have 30+ 360 games and I will play 5 max currently and tend not to go back once i'm bored.

Usually buy one game at a time and trade it in once I've finished it. Completed 100s of games over the years and never felt the need to go back and play any again so don't see any point in keeping them. Only exceptions being games like Football Manager, Pro Evo and currently Street Fighter IV.
