Right im putting together an up to date htpc / gaming box in my front room and ive gone for these 3 components.
i5 2500k
MSI Z68MA-ED55 Intel Z68
Corsair Vengeance Blue 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz
Im going to be recycling my nexus 850w psu, intel ssd, 2 x 1tb sammys and a 5970 for the graphical clout oh yea and my blu ray drive.
Next question is im going to need a low level cooler, one that will be decent enough to let me clock my chip to at leat 4ghz, whats the best. I currently have a scythe low level cooler ( its not the ninja ) and im not sure if its up to the job.
The case im going to be re using is my modded antec veris fusion remote.
Currently its got a core 2 duo sat in it and a 5870 but ive got a new led tv coming so im moving from my old old plasma at 720p to full hd goodness hence the 5970.
