.Your right, there isn't really, it's only something I've started doing recently, not sure why just helps me not forget when a games due out I suppose.

Also got Far Cry 2 on the PC on my pre order list. Did have Burnout Paradise but cancelled it the other day

Neither do I. The supermarkets/high street shops are usually as cheap on release day and you don't have to worry about Royal Mail messing up.

A certain high street store had AAA titles half price a few weeks after their release a few weeks ago, that put me off preordering.

I've had Haze on pre-order since November... seeing as I was anticipating a December release... oh well

I preordered Burnout Paradise yesterday, just a few more weeks to go for that
After seeing the 1up show that rp2000 posted, with the footage of Dark Sector, I'm going to pre-order that in a minute, also due for a Jan 25th release.
I'll doubtless also order GTA IV a bit nearer the time too

Only Zack & Wiki at the moment but i will be ordering No More Heroes as well at the end of this month or once a release date has been set in Europe.
I don't normally pre-order games so early... often buy them a week or so before release if a see a good price or just wait. Especially with PC games as recently they all seem to be going up in price just before launch.
I have pre-ordered the 2 i mentioned though simply because they are not big games and i want to ensure i get a copy and also support good 3rd party games on the Wii.

I've never pre ordered a game before but I'll be pre ordering Mafia 2 and taking the day of work, never been so excited for a game ever.
