I prefer boardgames over Warhammer and its ilk - mainly as I couldn't afford the figures! I actually have a Rhino (like an APC?) and a squad of Space Marines somewhere - it was all I could afford - I also didn't have the blood red required for Blood Angels and they turned out a horrid crimson colour - since then I've stuck to just watching 
As it is, I play the Pathfinder RPG once a week with a small group, 4-5 in total, but we don't do much board-gaming - my lot are not really into it as much as me!
