What do you prefer GFX wise? Halo or COD ?

With regards to this FPS chat, etc. If you're more sensitive to it than others fair dos. I dont get angry at games unless they go into slow motion! Or if you manage to enter a scene and half the textures are yet to pop in.

And yet Mass Effect, Probably one of my favourite games of all time, suffered heavily with both those factors, Plus a few others!

These forums would probably be damn boring if we all shared the same views all day long.

Oh and on topic, I actually felt black ops was a step away from the usual Call of Duty look, It was more colourful. It felt a little counter strike...ish?! Maybe its just me who thought that though

But I'm with majority in saying i felt reach was the prettier game

Yes, that seems to happen to me too. Games that I really get into having okish graphics.. GTA Vice city was all over the shop, and I just loved that game.

Anyway, its time for me to go find that hotel room now, or should I go with the cliff option? Decisions decisions.

ive not played cod bo ... but both my mate ( who hasnt got an xbox ) and myself were literally looking out yonder on halo reach through binos to see distant battles ...attention to detail ... and the lanscape ... we just stopped for minutes on end to look around ... great game graphically imo

and i dont want to see anymore insultts ... theres been multiple warning flashed about by admins already this week ... i'll be reporting anymore i read thanks

I felt the same with Reach and found myself just stopping now and again to really take the time to look around. Personally I applaud Bungie for that kind of ambition although I agree that fps wise the game failed from time to time but on the whole it was fine.

Perhaps the OP should have read 'fps wise' and not 'gfx wise' as that seems to be what the whole argument is about. Agreed for fps Black Ops wins but graphically? Halo all the way, dude.

Well thanks for the pleasant response there, well as far as my IQ goes not sure, haven't done IQ test in quite a while but it was pretty decent last time I checked! As for my eyesight, well I am short-sighted but I wear contacts, can see perfectly well without them, and in short Red Dead Redeption still looks rubbish...though it all depends what you compare it too! if your comparing it to Halo: Reach then yes it looks totally useless, if your comparing it to Worms: Armageddon for example then it looks fairly decent.

RDR is one of the best looking games of 2010 and up there for best on console imo. 360 version anyway.

Brilliant lighting, view distance and what not. Stunning looking game considering its the same engine as GTAIV.

I have to say that no Halo game has particularly impressive graphics and that's not what they're about anyway, to compare RAGE to the Halo engine is pretty laughable too.
