I am looking to replace my daughters 5-6 year old i5 (integrated gpu) with a new laptop.. No heavy gaming at all, mainly Roblox and the likes (at the moment anyway), along with typical school type work..
LENOVO IdeaPad L340
Ryzen 7 4800U
16gb RAM
256gb SSD
No dedicated GPU.
This has an estimated delivery of late October - but I ideally need it mid sept for a birthday present.
Which of the 2 would be a better machine? I know the Ryzen will be a fair big faster than the i5, but it has no dedicated GPU.. Also the Ryzen is £200 extra.
What would you do? Will the top one be good enough to last another 5 years?
