Ok just want some expert advice, just planning a build.

Thanks guys! I didnt go for a i7 as I feel it will be overkill, but its always good to be future proof. Im mainly going to use it for video encoding, it will be used to play media and also run games from the SSD.

Will the mobo and case I picked just not go together, Im considering the same motherboard but a different case, maybe an Antec p182 as its a super midi tower case, as I have limited space a smaller case may be better suited!

Thanks wise guys for all your help, Im picking different parts all the time from your suggestions, thanks for all the help!!

If you have limited space go for a midi tower - but you still don't want a Micro-ATX mobo in it - it really will limit you and you can get a P43 ATX for approx the same money if money was an issue.

Now would be a good idea for you to list the components that you like the look of and advise us on whether you're sticking with a socket 775 mobo or whether, by dropping the SSD, you're going to future proof your build with the i7. That way we can advise you more effectively.

As i mentioned before - remembering, that the spec you posted originally will run all games without breaking much of a sweat - if money is tight. (with a decent ATX mobo in it of course ;) - and with the SSD dropped you could upgrade to a 4890 which would see that spec bulldoze through games.)

Thanks for all your effort and time Im greatful.

I have decided to go for an i7 build main reason as Im going for a quad core anyway, I may aswell pay the bit more as it seems well worth it.

after a long think and a read through the threads on here I have picked these new components out, thanks to icey_haj for giving me ideas.

This is what I have, somewhat different to what I first came up with, LMK what you think.
