What do you think of my eclipse modding idea?

Hi,

I'm thinking of modding the front of my eclipse with some black mesh on the fan grill. My idea is to make a wooden mold of the curved front and make a male mold that fits inside the female mold so i can crush the 2 together to form the mesh grill. Then cut out the old grill and insert the mesh grill letting it stand proud slightly, with a blue led fan behind i think it would look good.

this is the mesh id be using, it says its black but it doesn't look black in the picture, if its not the right color i want ill spray it.

I was also thinking of using some of this on the bottom of the case.

Any views welcome, do you think it will look good or mess the front up.

Idea sounds good how to shape it and all.

Personaly I wouldnt do that to my case beacause I like the grill how it is.

But its your case and im sure it would look good once its all done.

SO GO FOR IT MATE

You can always buy one of the metal fronts once they have been made if you screw up

invest in a nylon mallet m8

sounds good.

dont forget to use an etch primer ont he mesh if your gonna spray it( if its bare metal ) !!

Cheers, ye ive allready got a nylon 2lb hammer, should do nicely for the job. The mesh is stainless steel so shouldnt need etch primer and it says its black so i hope i wont need to paint it. I dont really know if i should go ahead yet though, i like the front now but i think this mod will make it look even better. Ill order the mesh and then see what itll look like.
