i wanted a budget gaming pc build to start gaming, and use it for work ect.
i already have a q6600 quad core cpu.

your thoughts and recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

If it is a budget build why buy a case that cost's almost as much as the graphics card? Personally i think it's tacky anyway but thats just me.

I would ditch the case and stupidly expensive Corsair HX. £114 for a 620w psu is obscene.

Zalman heatpipe psu's are excellent. 500w would be more than enough for that rig. The PC Power and Cooling Silencer series are good as well. I would link but can't get on the shop again.

i no the case and psu is a bit high but i want it to be future proof for upgrades.

because i don't want to upgrade my gpu and hard drives 6 months down the line and needing to buy a bigger case or more powerful psu.

i no the sites terrible lately for downtime, wish they would fix it.

Pastymuncher speaketh the truth. The 500W Zalman is excellent and will be as 'future proof' as any Corsair. You only need a higher wattage PSU if you're thinking about going SLI/CrossFire. Also go for the 4850, and yes it SHOULD have a HDMI adapter.

will the zalmans cables be long enough to do cable management in the antec 1200 case?

apparently the cpu cable can be a tight fit with some psu cables

The only reason for getting the 1200 over the 900 (IIRC) is you can fit a few more HDDs in. But more chance of cables not reaching far enough etc, it's a huge thing to lug around, and weighs a far bit. The 900 will fit pretty much anything in, it's a full-size case, so unless you need lots of HDD bays, I'd save some cash and go for the 900.
