What do you think of NZXT cases? my brother has asked me to build a pc based around the NZXT Hades. what comparable cases are there to this and do you think that it is a good case?

Not my cup of tea but if you like it, thats all that counts - be happy with your purchase!

Hi
Well i used a NZXT Tempest evo on a build the other day.
I was very happy with the build.
Build quality was excellent and plenty of fans to keep everything nice and cool.
It comes with 6 fans stock (4x 120mm and 2x 140mm)

From reading the review the case seems to have lots of good features and has excellent airflow which is great if you don't want to go down the watercooling route . NZXT cases are usually built really well too as two of my friends have told me and in terms of looks beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I like NZXT cases. The looks are controversial, but there's always one or two cases in their line up that someone'll like.

The build quality (aside from the Whisper) is always excellent for the money, and the black interiors on many of the models belie the price tag.

Cooling is generally pretty good, but they're not the quietest of cases.

i have the nzxt m59 window, the tint is nice and the quality feels VERY nice(for the price). and the airflow you can get is amazing. (2x 140 in the top, 120 in the rear side and front, and if you only use 1 optical drive you can add a seccond 120 in the front.

not to mention dust filters on a £40 case which already has the insides painted black with tooless drives :)

oh. and nzxt service was amazingly fast. (case fan shatterd,) and i had a replacement from them a lot faster than corsair with there ram.

As quiet as apartment house without walls between neighbours.
Lots of plastic and cheap stamped meshes which are seriously airflow restricting and turbulence noise causing in many models.
At least pricing is low.

my parents had a nzxt hush case because they wanted a quiet system

they have recently changed to a 300 because the case was a badly constructed hot box with no airflow.

the 300 is excellent.
