You will need to order before the morning for that HDD price, also you do have a heatsink for the CPU as it doesn't come with one. The retail version does though and also has a 3year warranty.

god dam HDD's so exspensive at the moment, and cheers for spotting that completely missed out.

One more thing, did you ever want to go Crossfire in the future?

that motherboard isnt ideal as it runs the top slot at 16X and the second slot gets 4X bandwidth, better (more expensive boards) do it at an equal 8X/8X. If a single GFX card is all that interest you then ignore.

mmm i was considering crossfire, but then i just went for a single quite exspensive graphics card as id thought it would do the job and play the majority of the games i want to play on highish settings.

if you've not ordered yet you better get a move on as onlly 3 hdds left.

as for the xfire situation you don't need to buy 2x cards now, as long as you've get a compatible mb & psu now you can get a 2nd 6950 in the future for cheap.

arrr well im not ordering it till friday morning im guessing ill just have to chip in a go for a more exspensive hdd, yh im going to stick with the one 6950 if i was going to add another one it would be till a while in the future.

Yh going to take my old drive out my old pc. but going to invest in a blu-ray drive in the near future.

Check to make sure it's a sata one not IDE.
And when you get a blu-ray drive, make sure it's a retail version so you get the software with it as there are no freeware versions.

OH and if you need a decent cooler, these are pretty good for up to around 4.5 - 4.6GHz.

Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler

yh its a sata one, and ok will do. cheers for the help, its my first build so much appreciated.

Do the 3.5" versions of the WD Caviar Blue suffer from the same head parking problem that the 2.5" laptop version suffer from?

cheers for that looking nice, ive been looking for a HDD everywhere at a suitable price. im ordering my system tomorrow morning, i may just get everything you posted. will that card and cpu be able to run games like bf3,mw3 skyrim etc on high/ultra settings smoothly?
