What do you think of this set up? I am not seeking maximum performance, but I certainly don't want poor performance. Will these parts allow good overclock potential on the CPU (like 3.4 Ghz with good air) as well as the RAM?

Also, about Vista - many games run worse in DX10 mode and just generally on Vista as well. Are there workarounds to get XP performance?

i'd go with an abilt IP35 myself

and yes you can get XP performance... by getting XP 64 bit.

Doesn't the 64 bit have a lot of compatibility issues? Also, why would you go for the Abit instead?

I wouldnt buy a 32bit OS now, go with Vista 64 tbh.
