what do you think of this?

Without looking at the link surely this has to be one of the worst times to buy? due to the price hikes etc.

I'd pay the extra and get one in the UK.

That way you have 2 year Nikon warranty. :)

I'd keep the D60 myself. ;)

EDIT: How good are those "Wide Angle Autofocus Lens" and "52mm 2X Telephoto Autofocus Lens" bolt on things... Do they work?

The screw-on adapters will be very low quality, really not worth paying for.
The memory card will be the slowest available.
The filters will be really low quality.
The flashgun is a waste of time.
As the others have said, you'll have no warranty unless you send it back to the USA.

Basically, you'll be paying for a load of duff items that they've chosen for you. You'll also probably get caught by Customs for duty and VAT as the package comes into the country so add another 20% to the price.

Does it still look like a good deal?

not too sure of the costs of these things, but, is the kit you want in that package at an acceptable price, and does the package have everything you need?

For me there is no point in buying cheap rubbish you don't want or need.

Also as others said, factor in the cost of import duty to the price. You might get away with it, but you might not.

Agreed.

Skimming though the extras it all like like a big waste of money. Guaranteed you will chuck all of that stuff out within a few months.

The camera itself is 2nd hand refurbished, not new. And will not have a Uk or worldwide warranty.

Buy from the UK.

The last six items in that auction you get with any D90 body anyway.

The rest of it looks pretty much like trash to me.

If you really want to go down the used route, then there are D90 cameras/kits for sale on ebay within the UK for similar money.

By the time you've added on duty/vat/shipping, it's not much cheaper than a brand new D90 with 18-105 kit lens available from numerous shops.

If you can't stretch to that, then I'd rather get a different camera but better still keep the D60 and accept that you can only use AF-S lenses, which are hardly more expensive than non-motor lenses anyway.

Or go to Curry's couple of payment plans including, buy now pay 1yr later :) (small £25 fee for the Privilege)
