Most of this will be going into an Antec P180 with an FSP Sparkle Epsilon 700W ATX2.0 PSU

The E4300 will be going into a 37P shuttle with some DDR2 ram I already have and an X1900 master card and MCE2005 as a media centre.

I already have a 2407 for display duties for my main rig and a 2005 as a second monitor in portrait mode

Any comments?

If you're building this as a gaming system I reckon you should stick with XP until drivers mature.

Might go dual boot then - but certainly a good thought.

I want / need to get used to Vista due to work, so have to try it asap anyway but will be mainly gaming rig and HD files yes

thats a sweet spec. Just for that extra little bit of performance, perhaps you could throw in a raptor hard disk to install XP onto They are worth it

thanks for that but forgot to add that is also what I already have (76Gb v2 Raptor) Might need some local storage, so probably add a seagate 320GB or something
