Hey im new here,

bsaically im upgrading my current computer so it will run flight simulator fsx
on ultra high settings

this is what i have planned to get from

Abit Fatal1ty In9 sli 650

Geil 2gb pc6400 x2

Intel core duo 2 e6600 2.4ghz conroe

Bfg Geforce 8800 GTS Oc 640mb

Artic cooling freezer 7 pro-Ive heard of the artic 7 being a tight squeeze on the mobo ?

What do you guys think ? :confused:

Ive decided to change the memory to Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C3 667MHz

Ive heard of the geil kits being bad :confused:

or shall i stick with the geil

Hey also ive heard that windows professional isnt 64bit so do i need to upgrade to vista, is it worthwile ?

Also i have xp professional, that will cope with the intel core duo ?

Okay so ive decided not to upgrade.

I think ill upgrade when memory for 4 gb kits gets cheaper, and also maybe when vista ultimate gets sp1 and runs smoothly.

Reason is that i dont want to waste money and find that my sytem wont even run fsx on ultra high.
