I already have a 4890 and a solid state hard drive etc So i'm hoping it will be a pretty speedy system! (~4ghz).

Anyone have experience with the mobo?/know if it clocks well?

Also, I was considering the V8 cooler.

i would look at maybe getting 6GB of 1333 MHz RAM instead as technically using 1600MHz RAM you are overclocking your memory

You could save on the case, if you wanted. Something like a CM Scout or even the Dominator, of which you could mod in a window

The V8 is a good cooler, but it's not the best. Try these:

Gigabyte is what i have pretty much chosen all my computer building life cant fault them!

Not heard bad things about that brand of MB but then neither have I heard GOOD things!!

Update:

spent a bit more and went for a pre-made bundle @ 4ghz, as I like the guarantee of the chip being able to reach 4ghz. I think I'll try push it a little further though
