Hi all. It's been a good few years since I last built a system so I'd really appreciated your thoughts on my list below. Any potential problems you can see. Any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

Spec is looking ok, what is the main use of the PC? as you can drop down to 8gb of ram.
 
Is this just a gaming rig ? As you will be fine with 8GB if so.

I would probably get a different psu as you won't need 750W for a single 290.
 
Thanks guys. I think I'll take advice from everyone and work out a system from here. Not sure about the water cooling though. Never done that before.

I got that same mobo/cooler bundle a few weeks ago.

its an all in one system, very easy to install.If you have any problems (when/if you buy it) feel free to message me.
 
I went with my original set-up but cut the ram down and added a DVD drive. Didn't have the courage to go water cooled but think I'll swap the PSU for a Matterhorn as I build.
