What do you use your PS3 for?

I don't own any games for it

Purely blu-ray at the minute although I plan on buying NHL 08.

big dusty paperweight. i have lots of paper and breezy room.

oh yea, i play games such as GT:HD on it, download games/demo's, tekken 5.. etc

I haven't tried Blu-ray on it yet - I use my PC so am not use if there will be any benefit to using this in stead. I might give it a try when I get my next disc.

BD / DVD Playback (Shame you can't play multi-region DVD's on it)
Streamed Media Playback (From Media Server running Twonky)
Gaming (Have a number of games and the latest is Warhawk)
Dust Attraction (Uses the vast power of the Cell processor to attract 10x as much dust as anything else I have)

Gaming, Blu-ray films (all 3 of them), DVD's.

In addition I store all my photos and music on mine (then transfer to and from my MP3 player/Phone (memory card).

a couple i cant find any replies that say they play ps3 games, just ps1 and ps2 ? :/

i see its a good console with poetential but if you want to play dvds & ps2 games why not keep your ps2 and get one when they come down in price?

by the way when i upscale on my ps3 it kinds of makes the dvd look odd, weirdly angular? anyone else experienced this? is it a setting i need to change?
