After really enjoying F1 2010, I started thinking about 2011. What can be done better and what would you like to see in F1 2011.
Heres my list:

Historic F1 cars, such as Senna's last turbo car, his 1988 McLaren.

Historic tracks such as the Nurburgring

Better out of race experience

Improvement of AI behavior

More online options

Codies probably wont do it but no more GFWL, its horrid

Short list but ready to be expanded by you guys!

Historic cars would be an awesome addition, but we'd need a Gran Turismo like timetable on the game to implement it. It'd probably make a decent separate game in it's own right.

AI behaviour has much room for improvement in F1 2010. They're not very consistent and move all over the place. They need to be smoother and smarter.

Online needs to be less annoying, like all codies games of late, it's over-polished and we need some more control back.

Better model of fuel and tyres is needed too I think. Game is great fun but it needs to feel a bit more real, more like you're actually glued to the track in a awesome quick downforce machine. I guess I'm saying that grip should be more tangible, like it is in GTR2 or Race 07. FF detail would help that feeling too.

Better focus on testing and a faster response to bugs, not a "we're now focusing on next year's game approach"

More visual clues on tyre wear, flatspots appearing if you lock up the front wheels etc. Better visual representation of a drying line and debris visible when offline.

Safety car. :D

Nothing.

I won't be buying it as I didn't enjoy being a guinea pig for their last game, so have no intention of supporting them.

Less drab graphics and more busy looking tracks, its like they exhausted the whole track budget on monaco then had to cut and paste the rest of the tracks.

Paying more than twenty quid to be a beta tester definitely left a sour taste, so maybe I'd like to see anyone other than codies doing it? then I might at least contemplate buying it :p

I want to see the basics done right this time.

1. Pit times reduced to reflect real time taken to change tyres <4 seconds
2. Pit exit white line rule
3. Faster pit box exit
4. Team on the pit wall + time board
5. Parade lap with emphasis on keeping heat in the tyres
6. No drab colours (F1 is probably the most photogenic sport in the world yet they made F1 2010 look utter gash)
7. No punishment for you if another driver makes a mistake and you crash into him
8. Balanced and smooth driving AI who take tighter lines into corners to block you
9. Engine/hydraulic/suspension failures
10. A choice of engineer voice over
11. Spectator mode during on-line games
12. TV camera style replays
13. Telemetry to share with other for TT events
14. Visible car upgrades (different wings etc.)
15. And finally ... have the bloody numbers change on the cars when you win the championship. I mean for goodness sake, that is bread and butter F1. Everyone knows you become the number 1 driver in the world and which ever team/car you have reflects this with the number 1 on the car ... how did they miss this the first time out ??? that one really boggles my mind.

I know that is a list of pure disappointment before the game is even finished and that is the reason I will not be buying it until December/January ... but one can dream.

Edit: More disappointment I have thought of

1. No more silly 3D interactive menus and loading screens. Just give me a cool ass picture and a progression bar!
2. Marbles off line (this one should actually be in 2011 as the marbles given off by the Pirelli tyres is substantial enough to be in the game don't you think ?)
3. Actually use the lights around the track to indicate green/yellow flag conditions (they are in F1 2010 but not used ... utter pointless)
4. A TV style commentary and fly over of the track on race day
