going on holiday to tunisia on sunday and its forcast at 35°C for sunday, i know thats hot but ive got no temperature concept :p how does it compare to this springs mini heatwave in the UK

Err, thats pretty hot. Perfectly bearable though, probably the average temp for a sun holiday abroad

its not the temperature that gets you, its the humidity. In Phoenix we had temps of 48c, but you could wander about in it because of the low humidity. If you've got high humidity then 30c+ is nasty imo!

Tunisia? You're talking a dry heat then, even the wind is hot so there's no way to get out of it. In the direct sun you'll have to be very careful as it'll burn you in minutes if you don't watch it.

When you venture out, take plenty of bottled water and try and wear one of those 'legionaire' style hats that covers the back of your neck, or failing that a wide brimmed hat. I got severely caught out in Texas a few years back, it was agony.

I worked out there for 6 months offshore mid summer. I has a film of sweat on me the minute i moved.

:D to be honest i dont think ill be affected ill be lying in the shade and in the sea hopefully or getting pickpocketed by the locals

You ever opened your oven and been hit in the face by that initial hot blast? Well, imagine that but as a constant! :D
