You order it, they build it.

Normally to whatever parts you want.

You choose the parts then the item is built, rather being off the shelf which could have been sitting there for several months.

That would depend how long "it" takes to build and how many orders are ahead of yours.

Very unlikely, there's normally a couple of days delay which is why they specify it's built to order.

Yep depends on availability of the parts and how busy they are - might be worth giving the sales team a bell

It means that they build it to your specification on receiving your order. SO the chances of them sending it same day are slim.

In fact, if we're talking about anything at all complex, I'd not want them to, since it'd mean they hadn't tested it at all well.
