can somebody plz help me and tell me how to get my pc working
tanks scezy

Some pc cases have a intrusion protection which stops the pc booting if a microswitch on the case is not made - This connects to a motherboard header.
You will need to disable this in the BIOS.

Chassis intrusion just means that the case has been opened.

ExpressGate is a pre-boot mini OS which you can use to do basic stuff from - you don't really need it.

Not sure about the USB device one - does it boot if you remove everything from the USB ports?

i cant even get onto bios because of chassis intruded, theres a cable on the mobo saying chassis but i cant see a cable to plug into it.

On the board will be a jumper - Asus name it some thing different, have a check of the manual.

The jumper is usualy by the battery.

Going to check the manual

RTFM!

Normally a jumper that you move from 2 pins to another 2 pins.

Socket on the motherboard saying chassis is probably for a fan - it could be for the intrusion switch though...

it is a chasiss intrusion so i must have wired it wrongly.thanks for all of your info guys much apreaciated scezy.

Look at page 2-32 in manual, mentions something regards the chassis intrusion sensor.

CLRTC is the port you need it's by the last 2 PCI slots manual page 2-20.

Edit - seen your post above.

you know the pins where you plug the power & reset cable into the motherboard, on that panel is where the case intrusion things are, maybe you've put the reset button or something over it..

that usb overcurrent thing sounds like it's turning the pc off, not the case intrusion thing..

edit, from what i've just read on google, remove all usb devices.. one of them is probably faulty..
then try one by one plugging things back in until you find the culprit

failing that^, remove the motherboard and put it back in the case again -might be shorting out
