I will be mainly using this PC for Video Encoding and Editing not Games.
I will also be overclocking this Machine.

So what does everyone think of this setup and what would you change?

Thanks everybody.

Yes it does i have been on a couple of other forums and seen the setup other people have been going for and they have had the same board and same fan and it fits perfectly.

Im choosing this fan because i will be overclocking but is it vital, is the Intel Fan that comes with the chip that bad?

Also i have been looking for other cases but cant seem to find a nice looking case with enough fans and airflow in them.

Any chance you could help me out please?

You are better off listing the parts rather than linking to each one. Annoying having to go through all the links.

I can't speak for the Intel fan, I'm an AMD man

Thermaltake Tsunami Dream was my case of choice, and not had any problems with it. 120mm fans front and back, 92mm in the side. My hard drives never get above 31C, CPU idles at 32C.

How many fans are you aiming for? :p

Well mainly to keep my rig nice and cool, probably around 4 fans would do me nicely.

The case i showed you has 8 fans to me thats quite a bit don't know if i need that many lol

I personally would change the graphics card to this...

Change the case to...

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-065-AN

Thats gunna save you £15 which makes up for the higher price of the 7600GS 512

And also change the PSU to this...

And if you want to add fans onto the Antec 900. One on the side panel and one to cool the graphics card an CPU get two of these...

The case is generally your own preference.
But you need to make sure its a good spec.. Lian Li are a favourite for a lot of people, specifically the PC7+.

Keep the Corsair PSU, and get a 7600GS along with perhaps the Lian Li.

Personal Choice though :)

only thing i would think about changing is the gfx to a his 1950pro 256 on special at 129. it is a lot faster than one you mentioned, how ever you have said you dont do that much gamming soo not really a priority i guess :) you could even get the 520 corsair powersupply to save 30 as that should be fine for system you have mentioned

Do you mind saying why your not to sure on the case if you dont mind, is it just purly on the looks or the specs more?

thanks

Well from my experience (I currently have a NZXT case, and im soon to be upgrading to the Antec 900 (The one I recommended to you)) I feel that the build quality of them are rather poor and mainly consists of plastic.

The case has bad wire managment and the layout is rather 'lazy'.

Not only are you saving £15 on getting the Antec over the NZXT but you are getting a better quality case that also has the option of upgrading in the future (as the Antec 900 can hold a 8800GTX)

Yes but as said, its not used for gaming so it may be a slightly bit overkill. A 7600GS will settle for light gaming/anything else needed.

I am now looking at the Antec 900 Case or the Thermaltake ones.

I have noticed that the Antec case, the power supply slots in at the bottom is this an advantage or dosent it really matter?

a lot of people choose them & it saves money too.

If not, a Seasonic would be my choice too.

Well the Tagan 600W that I suggested is actually cheaper (Although by only £4) and are renowned for good quality. The problem with Seasonic, if i recall, is that their 24pin cable isn't long enough to reach the motherboard with any case which holds the PSU at the bottom.

Also I think the 7600GS 512Mb is a good choice if your not using it for gaming.

A 1950Pro is too extreme if your using it for Video editing.

If you get the Tagan 600W it will be fine. The only problem with it at the bottom is that some of the PSU's 24Pin doesn't fit. But you will be fine with a Tagan.
