what does the cellshock 2gb clock to?

my friend has just bought this, im building a pc for his tomorrow, what results are ppl getting with this, he's got a p35 board btw.

he's got a e6420, so x8 multi, wanna run 1:1 so need to know what fsb this ram will do and what timing and volts.

Should exceed 1000mhz at 5-5-5-15. Volts depend on the sticks, but 2.2v should see you over the 1000mhz mark.
 
sorry yeah, meant 8x multi. wont be using active cooling at all, so i should be able to do 500*7 with 2.2v? will that have to be 5-5-5 or will it be able to do it with lower timings?
 
I never got mine to pass memtest @ CL4 and increasing voltage to silly levels never helped either, so I would say no. Each kit is different tho, you may get lucky :)
 
yeah, cant complain for £90 really. my team xtreem clocks well past 500 with 4-4-4, but thats £135, my mate has a dinosaur comp so got him:

e6420
2gb cellshock
thermalright ultra 120 extreme
gigabyte ds4 p35

should get 3.5ghz on air for him hopefully.
