Can anyone help me, what is it for?

- Memory 4 x DDR2 1066*/800 / 667 MHz, Dual channel memory architecture

Next to the 1066 i am looking at the Asus P5K Premium and wondering if i can put my Crucial Ballistix 1066MHz in it.

Thanks.

it basicly means what speed ram the board will support. the forum recommended speed is 800mhz as that is sufficient for clocking most if not all C2D/Q cpus to 3ghz+. your crucial ballistix ram should work unless theres a known compatibility problem that someone else may tell you about (i dont know about there being one)
