What does this mean? [iPhone]

Phones been a bit dodgy the last couple of days and kept losing signal until i restarted, couple of nights ago it went back to the iOS setup screen and i had to set it up again, today it's gone to DFU mode and when I plug it into iTunes I get this...

Phones an iPhone 4 and it's only a couple of months old. The screen digitiser has a few dead spots from about a month ago but i was going to get it replaced but now it seems that this is a separate issue?

I think that means there is a problem with your iPhone. The iPhone you connected may be damaged and cannot be activated for service. It is recommended you visit your nearest Apple Store for more information.
