I picked the second option in prime within a matter of mins this error came up
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4

Hit the first option ran for 1hr 30mins no error. Im at 4.2 on a E8400, not had a bsod, restart or shut down all I get is the above error with the second option:confused:

You think I should ramp my vcore up a tad?

Here is the cpu-z reading :

Any more info needed ill get.

What voltages are you running through the NB and FSB TERM (vtt)? I found with my q9550 at 3.8ghz, i could pass hour after hour of small fft with minimal adjustments on NB and VTT, with blend i had to raise both of theese to 1.26, (you may need more with 8gb of ram), also switching "cpu margin enhancement" from optimized to performance helped as well, board used was also a p5q deluxe.

Im not getting any crashes or restarts in windows seems to be running fine at 4.2, its just when I use p95, I keep getting this error : FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4

So: supposing you were doing something that wasn't checking for errors. For example, encoding a video. That means every now and again, you'll be happily encoding, and then you'll insert an error into the video because your CPU just made a mistake and didn't realise. The only reason you haven't had a BSOD is because thus far, the error hasn't been significant enough to crash your system.
