What does this mean?

Recently built a P5W-DH system re-using a single Gainward 7800GT and MCE 2005. Every time I start up I now get this message:

Currently using ForceWare 91.31.

How can I stop the message?

It's a quirk with the 91.31 drivers. You can get rid of it by saving this lot as a .reg file and running it:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak]
"NvCplEnableMultiGPUConfigurationPage"=dword:00000 000

I would rather just install a different driver version. What is currently the best for the 7800GT 256Mb?

check your bios settings, you need to set the sli selector to either single card mode or auto so your xp driver can select it

yeah i get that message too mate, dont worry about it it changes to single card and thats what you got/me have got so forget it!

new drivers will sort it soon
