What does this say?

Hi everyone. Am 99% through the process of buying a car from someone (subject to a visit & inspection) and I noticed in one of the pictures they sent, there is something that looks like a cab firm label hanging from the rear view mirror.

If that's what it is then I won't be buying, but I really can't see it that well. Can you help? The car is in the Liverpool area which might help.

It looks like a cab firm doesn't it? Can't find anything under "A Class" in Liverpool. Anyone recognise the advert? That's the highest quality the picture comes in. I've obviously cut it from a larger photo!

The thing is, until I noticed this everything had been going superbly. The cars got full service history, receipts for big stuff which has been done as per service interval, immaculate inside and out, and it's a Volvo 850R (around 280bhp now) so I can't imagine it being used as a minicab but the label is bugging me.

It could also be a Valet company though, as they normally give you Air Fresheners with their details on it.

Sounds like a valeting firm to me, can't think of any other reason why it would be put there - it's not like other cars can see it.

What's the car's mileage?

Valeting firm would be good. The mileage at 134,000 is high but it's an old Volvo and of all the 850Rs I have looked at they all have similar mileage or more.

Clutch, cambelt & gearbox replaced 20,000 miles ago at Volvo specialist, new tyres, all electrics work perfectly, full service history half volvo then specialist......thick folder of receipts etc.

I'd also guess a Valeting company.
Good choice of car though, I love my 850R. Must get it remapped at some point...

Is your's a manual. Apparantly there are only 16 manual 850Rs in the UK, and this is one of them! How have you found ownership - lots of fun? Are these things pretty quick. I know 260 odd bhp is very nice but with a large car does it still feel quick?

I remember my old bos having and 850R (auto) when they were new and i couldn't believe how well it shifted, really could put you in your seat!

Edit: maybe these guys? CLicky! Is that anywhere near where your getting it?

Mine is a manual, but I think there are a fair few more than 16 in the UK!
I love it. I can load it up with so much stuff, and still shift when I want to. Averaging 27mpg though and tyres are disappearing quickly!

It's on about 113k miles now, and I'd say it has at least that left in it again.
