Hi

Can anyone recommend the best driver to use with this steering wheel for the PC?

I've downloaded the Logitech Wingman driver but wanted to make sure it was the best one before I unleash Toca 3 tonight!

Thanks

hmmm, I've loaded the software & installed the wheel but in the Toca 3 demo I can't use the wheel to turn left or right... :(

Obviously I've tried assigning new tasks to the controls & managed it for everything else, but can't get the wheel turns to register.

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks

Have you plugged the DFP into the PC using the USB(sorry for the obvious)

yes, that's definitely in. In Toca3 I can use the pedals, change gear, change camera etc, but just can't steer. Which is not helping my progress really. ;)

When I go into the setup for the controls and try to change the 'button' for turning left or right it doesn't recognise me turning the wheel

It works in Richard Burns (RIP) Rally, although that game is almost impossible...

Help!!!

I remember the demo being VERY tempermental with my DFP.

I think I just tried and tried until it worked, you have to turn the wheel with a canny amount of speed/force for it to register on the setup screen.

Okay, I'll keep trying it :)

When it wouldn't work last night I found an old demo of GT Legends, which was superb and worked first time!

Cheers

benlanky - Glad it worked :)

spoonz - With the newest drivers you're not resricted to either 200 or 900 degrees, you can set rotation at any value between 40 and 900 (iirc), you get hard FFB as the stops. I personally use 270 most of the time.

its usually set to 240 on mine but i turned it off last night on GTL and seem better the "old way" ie traditional wheel!

Should I increase sensitivty or deadzone when using a higher degree of rotation?

do people use the "full rotation" option on PC games?
no i use 360* for most games, i reckon the 900* is rather useless, just feels weird.
with the wingman software, its allows you to choose rotation by a slider.

you can still use the 200*/900* hardstops if you wish, but as said if you wish to use a custom rotation setting its just limited by the FFB.
