What earphones / headset for Vive

I have been looking but not got any yet

but did see a review on some nice wireless ones

Turtle Beach Stealth 450 Wireless Gaming Headset

thinking about them as its then no cables ..

I use my corsair H2100 wireless headphones and they work really well, if used for a while my ears can get quite warm though.

I started off using Hyper X Clouds, then went to my wireless Corsairs. I found both a PITA.

To be honest, I've gone with the included earbuds. They are pretty good and I've routed the cables so the buds basically just dangle over your ears ready to pop in with no slack or loose bits, they are practically mimicking the placement of the Rift earphones and feel part of the HMD.

Turtle Beach Stealth 450 - and I love them, though they do feel a bit cheap in some regards. They seem to be perfect when gaming, but sometimes when watching youtube videos, I can notice the tiniest bit of delay. It's not annoying at all and may even be me just imagining it as I usually balk at wireless stuff for my gaming machine.

I have just got my self some Audio-Technica ATH-M50X

They come with a short cable .. tho it could do with been shorter but its not all that bad

Enough to get head set on without a problem but not that long its in the way

cable can be detached tho the headphone end is different to the standard but you can fix that your self without damaging then just removing a part inside that's easy to put back.

They clamp to your head well so wont be moving

While playing brookhaven I can now hear sounds I could not before .. so much better but also more creepy.

I just use the supplied earbuds. They are better than any earbuds i have. I do have a Logitech G930 but never bothered using it with the vive.

I guess i am not that much of an audiophile. ;)

Found with my short cable I can wrap it around the main cable twice or so and it when stops it been a problem at all

Without it could pop around and catch you hand but wrap around the main cable sorts this out very nice.

I have not tried but could remove the extension from the vive head set and plug in direct to remove that bit more. But I quite like the idea that is there as the audio jack will unplug its self if needed (falling off your head) during them moments when surrounded with things and no bullets.

Earbuds for me just keep falling out so was not an option.

Has anybody used Astro A50s for room scale stuff and do they stay on you head?

That's what I use, they stay on fine.

Can reach for them with the Vive on nearly perfectly now, seem to know instinctively where on my desk they are perched on their stand!

Sent them crashing a few times though.

My Bose Quiet Comforts do the job nicely with the Vive but most of the time, purely for convenience I don't bother.

Built in Rift headphones are a godsend!

Fixed my 10 year old wireless Sennheiser HDR 120s and they work really well. Nice and light. I personally found the included buds too uncomfortable and my normal headphones (DT770s) too heavy.
