one of the driveshafts was broken
Had the same problem... was 2 broken coils at the front.
Had the same problem and it was the brakes, seized caliper and warped disc.
worn top mount bushes.
Could it be a slight flatspot on the wheel?
I'll throw another one into the mix from when I had a similar issue.
Hit a huge meteor crater (pothole) and had vibration more noticeable at higher speeds. Had a full alignment redone, wheels re balanced but it was still there. Didn't trust the balancing job so took it somewhere else, they started redoing it and then showed me why it was vibrating....turns out the wheel itself had a massive flat spot and wasn't actually round anymore ...![]()
You can claim off the council for that damage![]()
I thought about it at the time but couldn't really get a proper picture of the pothole (it was on a hugely busy roundabout!) and it seems to have been repaired now. I guess it'd be impossible to prove.
