Hi folks, I have just took a bulb from the bathroom light fitting, the bulb itself says;

OSRAM 60W 240V

MADE IN FRANCE H668

The light fitting itself says 'ES GP' on a sticker

Im guessing the ES is the fitment type.

But I want to start using energy saving bulbs now so just wondered which I'd need to get? Do I need to look for anything other than a screw fit that fits?

Many thanks,

Sean

I know it's a half obvious question, but it's not just for a normal hanging light.

It is one of those flush style lights on the ceiling, ones which take 2 bulbs, so huge bulbs won't fit.

I bought 4 x Energy Saving Multi Tube lamp 11 *** ES Philips Genie

They are the wirey style ones! I don't mind as they are under a lamp cover.

As you say, same thoughts about full brightness from cold, I have no issues with that.
