what everything fit?

yes, but I think the mobo is a little too small :o never the less it will without looking at CPU compatibility

so the GPU may well block off the PCIe1x and PCIs whatever it has

mobo is short for motherboard.

The components listed should work. As you are not using a micro atx case you would be better off getting a different motherboard.

I assume you already have a power supply and hard drive.

You would probably get more for your money if you looked at an AMD setup! Might be worth your while posting for advice in the general hardware forum

Hi Terrapin, Do you have a budget for the system and which components exactly are you needing? From what you have said I think you are looking for:

CPU
Motherboard
RAM
Graphics Card
Case
Power Supply Unit (PSU)

Will you be needing anything else (like a DVD drive, hard disk, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, Operating system)? Also, do you plan on overclocking?

The system you picked will likely work, but it is not the best choice TBH. The motherboard is very cheap and designed for low cost, small systems and includes a basic graphics processor on the board. Coupling this with a high-end CPU is a bit of a waste.

Edit: After seeing your later thread here, I threw together this spec, what u think?

Whatever you do, don't buy that MSI motherboard. The cheap MSI boards are abysmal. Spend a bit more and get a P43 or even a P45 board.

that what I was about going to say but all I can see was blurr i need to sleep more ;(
