What exactly is rtm?

Nah, BEn_2600+ is right, its Released to Manufacturers... for example Vista RTM is the version released to them like a few months before retail hit the streets. You'll see Vista RTM in most of the reviews of Vista SP1 just to compare the two.

Hope that helped.

Do any of you know STFU :p

Ok here as I beta test for MS.

Alpha = You know this is 1st stage of testing

Beta = You know this is 2nd stage of testing and can become public.

RC = Release Candidate and can be RC1, RC2, I aint seen any MS stuff get to RC3 thats I have tested BTW.

RTM = Release To Manufacturing and its FINAL/GOLD unless these Manufacturers find some major flaw missed before this stage, thats why they get it Months before anyone so flaws can be found if they exist and to get all kit ready for Sale (PC's).

Vista SP1 should not have made it to RTM in its state as there is still bugs that have been around since XP and more added by SP1, but it fixes more than it breaks and rest it simply did not fix or make worst (not for lack of me filling out many reports on errors). :(

P.S, If I get a ban for joke above it will be lame, since I was actually asking a Q not expressing it. ;)

So is it just me that intrigued by the OPs comments, is the monitor faulty? and how were you hoping to get the money back on it?

Yes it is,well it has multiple stains on it or something, like white blotches, and there's the back light bleed which is pretty bad.
And i hoped to get the money back on my debt card.

Just cause it's developed a fault why would you expect your money back?
