Hi.

I have a Corsair 540 Air case with the following fans:

x3 Corsair AF120s on the front intake
x1 Corsair AF140 exhaust at the back
H100 with x2 SP120 Quiet Editions exhausting at the top

I've never bought a controller before and was wondering if it was possible to control all of the above fans and what you'd recommend?

Many thanks,
Alex.

Yes it's possible, but I'd also recommend letting the H100 handle its own fans. I do this on mine.

Your choice depends what kind of interface you want.
Lamptron do some very nice ones with dials and 7-digit LED displays. Some have changable colours and display rpm, temps and even voltages (the FC5 v3, if it's actually out yet).

I personally have the FC6, although I'll switch to the FC5 v3 when I have money to play with.

Others are basic dials, touchscreen displays, or combinations. Some even have multi-function panels.

+1 to let the H100 manage its own fans and I just use a cheap fan controller to control 3 x 200mm & 1 x 140mm case fan.

My controller was £38 that way if it had turned out to be no good I could have given it away or sold it on but It turned out to be spot on for the price and gives me direct control of my fans and adds some shiny lights to the front of my case :)

The thing about the Corsair 540 Air is you have vertical bays so why not go for an external controller ??
