Im going to be upgrading from the antec 900 to the fractal design r3 and will be ordering the case tomorrow. I might as well buy some good qual fans to go with it, but not sure what ones to get.
Apparently the stock fans are 25db@1350rpm but not sure how much air they move. So Ive been looking at the BeQuiet 120mm fan (17db@1500rpm, 50.5cfm) and the Akasa Apache Ultra 120mm fan (16db@1300rpm, 57.53cfm) as these 2 fans seem to have the best specs. But theirs a problem with both these fans....
The BeQuiet fan has rubber grommets on so screwing them on the case is not do able unless you can remove the grommets?
The Akasa Apache Ultra fan is brown so wouldnt go well with the case.
So what fans would you guys recommed for quietness and good air flow? My plan is to buy 3 fans, 2 in the front, 1 in the back.
