What Ferrari was that?

Normally I pay little attention to these as I see about 5 a day but today I saw the nicest one I've ever seen and I'd like to know what model it was. All I can say is that it didn't look like the 'run of the mill ones' but was more 'AC Cobra' like in shape only larger, black, foreign plates & LHD, any ideas?

It was indeed a 612 Scaglietti , a beautiful looking car, pics don't do it justice

That's what I was about to say.

I think he may have been referring to the bulges, rather than the size & shape though maybe?

Nice cars though, I just dont get on with the front ends of them though.

Nope, I said it was like a Cobra in shape but larger, I was referring to it's styling really

Edi: Meaning the one I saw wasn't as 'sharp' as the ones I usually see

Sat in one at he Ferrari factory although I got booted out as the car was meant to be locked

According to our tour guide, they don't lock the display cars in the factory because they don't have batteries in

Well, I say factory but this one was actually in the museum down the road. Every other car was locked but we went into a large circular room that had loads of cars mounted up at an angle against the wall. The 612 was on the floor in the middle and I just pulled on the door handle and it came open. So I decided to jump in for a closer look and then was asked to get out of the car, hehe.

Oddly enough, I didn't try the doors of any cars in the Galleria

612s have a real presence about them. Not as classically beautiful as some of its predecessors but a stunning car nonetheless.
